Two mountain cabins in Grövelsjön
Renhornet and Torpet are in Huskläppen, about 40 km north of Idre in the Swedish mountains. Marked hiking trails and ski tracks start close by, and both cabins have access to a sauna.
The cabins
Two cabins next to each other. Rent one, or both if you are a larger group.
Grövelsjön all year round
Winter
Reliable snow. Clip into your cross-country skis at the door and tour up the fell, or train for Vasaloppet on miles of groomed tracks. The downhill slope is about 3 km away.
Summer
Grab your backpack and walk straight out on marked trails into the accessible mountains along the Swedish–Norwegian border.
Fishing and sauna
Fish in the river Grövlan and several nearby lakes. End the day in the sauna.
