Huskläppen · Grövelsjön
Renhornet
The larger cabin, with a fireplace and room for eight.

Renhornet is a cosy 42 m² mountain cabin in Huskläppen, Grövelsjön, in the Swedish mountains of northern Dalarna. It has a kitchen, three small rooms with bunk beds and a larger room with a sofa bed for two, an open fireplace and a TV. It sleeps six, plus two more on the sofa bed. Dogs are welcome.
Marked hiking trails and ski tracks start close to the cabin. In summer, put on your backpack and walk straight out into the mountains along the Swedish–Norwegian border. In winter, when snow is reliable, clip into your cross-country skis at the door and tour up the fell, or train for Vasaloppet on miles of groomed tracks. The downhill slope is about 3 km away, and there is good fishing in the river Grövlan and several lakes.
The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, microwave and electric stove with oven. There is a shower, toilet and sauna, and good-tasting mains water.
